The Other Side of Dr. Xeno's Brain

It's me, Dr. Xeno. Here are lecture notes and ideas for my work teaching physical and cognitive development across the lifespan (HDEV 3101) at the Department of Human Development at CSU, East Bay. This content is often referred to as mind-brain, mind body connection, brain and behavior; but it is really about the knowledge derived from the related fields of neurology, neuropsychology, neuroscience and cognitive science. Sometimes I just write about my kids or bike racing. Feel free to comment!

Dr. X, you need to restate your affirmation in the positive. The universe does not understand the word "not". You just told yourself that you want to get sick.
What I think you want to say is, "I want to experience health to it's ultimate extreme".
Try that one.

It's the Law of Attraction, what you resist will persist.

Oops, I jut reread you post, What you said is even more powerfully attracting sickness than I realized.
Remove the word "Not" and you just said "I will get sick".
It maybe too late to reverse the course, since you said it so matter of factly.
I only hope that you read this in time to do the work.

Whoa! Thnx for the manifestorial editing, hope I changed it in time to attract maximal positive forces from the Universe; so far so goof thougha lla round me are hacking & wheezing. And BTW, it's hard to not say not... I need practice.

Keep practicing and as you do the neuro pathways will begin to change to support the new behavior.

What if you say not not?? Does that count as a positive.....or negative???

I almost wrote that but quickly deleted it cause I thought it might attract extra negative attention... like two doses? but nice to see you try it.

My health update: still kickin' it! I just keep on riding figuring It'll drill the bug out of me or go ahead and get full on sick! I shall remain healthy! Was so beauty today had to stick with the Peggys for the full Palamares experience - hung in ok on the climb (for me, that is) and Nathan and I EMC'ed 'em good on the descent. Enuff, this is not a race report. Bro. Maynard, can I use not when I really mean 'not'? I was just being descriptive rather than trying to manifest anything, oh dang that manfifest destiny trip! It's really got me thinkin'...

It's as if the word is non-existant.
Use it twice, it's still nothing. Kind of like zero times any number is still zero. It is neither a positive nor a negative.
This is not a race report = This is a race report.
This is not, not a race report = This is a race report.

Thanks for the clarification - that was a race report! Same prize list as a VeloPromo deal.

So, ultimately, it goes back to the whole mountain biking thing - if you're staring at the rock you are trying to avoid, you end up running into it......because you are staring at it. In order to NOT run into it, you look where you WANT to go.....not where you don't want to go. Or am I backwards as usual???

Any way we can get EMC/Vellum handlebar tape????

You have perfect, it is exactly like the MTB thing.

We have our own tape, sort of.
