there is that cute little guy! He has good negotiating skills already. They get better at it as they get older.

ReplyDeleteTake the pedals off his bike and the training wheels and let him 'Fred Flitstone' all he wants. That's what I did for Morgan and she learned to ride quickly and painlessly. They learn the balance first then the pedal part.
If he's motivated he'll learn in a snap.
Climbing trees is good too!

ReplyDelete1 part no pedals + 1 part courage and desire = a 4 year old riding a bike.
My co-worker tried this with her son last weekend and within the hour he was riding with pedals and without training wheels.
Oh yeah, I'll try to do the bike mod this weekend for balance training. I think he is at standover height now. He IS a little climber - was scrambling allover the rox last weekend.
